This is an electronic system where notifications required to be disclosed to the public in accordance with capital market and stock exchange legislation are transmitted with electronic signature and announced to the public. Within the scope of the Capital Markets Board's (CMB) 'Public Disclosure Platform Communiqué', all information and documents to be disclosed to the public must be sent to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).
Borsa Istanbul A.Ş., which set out to become a global integrated marketplace for Turkish and regional financial assets in the capital markets of the future, has gathered the stock exchanges in the capital market under one roof. It was established based on the Capital Markets Law and is a private legal entity.
As the Central Securities Depository of Turkish Capital Markets, it offers custody, data storage and reporting, corporate governance and investor services to its members. MKK also provides data and technology services to domestic and foreign capital and financial institutions with the software, systems and platforms it develops using its own internal resources as an R&D center.
The Capital Markets Board was established to make general and specific decisions in order to ensure timely, adequate and accurate disclosure to the public. To determine the conditions and working principles regarding the independent audit, rating, valuation and information systems audit activities of institutions and partnerships within the scope of the law and to announce in lists those who meet these conditions.
